A large-scale nest woven from henequen fiber rests on the floor with a white plaster piece in the center. At first glance, the composition simulates a pair of eggs inside a nest. Upon closer inspection, the plaster form is revealed to be a human scrotum. The work is a physical manifestation of a pun: the double meaning of the Spanish word "huevos," which translates to eggs but is widely used colloquially to refer to testicles. The sculpture uses the visual expectation of a natural object to trigger a cultural idiom and question our immediate perception.
