Scribbles

 

​Photography is a process of elimination, its about what you exclude as much as it is about what you include. Out of curiosity I tried to do the opposite by experimented with adding an element after the fact. But even that became a form of removal, whatever I placed over the image changed or covered what was already there.

Portraiture often relies on the face to communicate meaning. I don't like that protagonism, the elements I add remove that and democratize  the image.
